the Subways is a grassroots movement
to spread the joy of classical music and celebrate Bach’s birthday with
free, open-to-everyone concerts. Pianist, teacher, and writer Birgit
Matzerath will perform Bach’s
Toccatas for the keyboard and selections from the Well-Tempered Clavier
in three concerts.

Mary Cassatt is one of the most important and innovative
American Impressionist painters who lived as an expat in Paris. She
worked closely with Edgar Degas and other leading artists of the time,
exploring new modern techniques in printing techniques and the use of

Karim Nagi is a native Egyptian and performs on multiple
percussion and string instruments from around the world. He describes
the history of each instrument and shares how they are made all the
while engaging the audience through rhythm and movement! Registration

Learn about puppies being raised to work with people who
are blind. Kids will meet some of the therapy dogs from The Seeing Eye
Puppy Raising Program and hear from the people raising them. Registration
