In this two-part virtual course,
discover the genre-defying works of Roberto Burle Marx and Marta
Minujín, two titans of modern and contemporary Latin American art.
Through works featured in the Museum’s past exhibition, Roberto Burle Marx: Brazilian Modernist,
learn more about landscape architect Burle Marx, best known for his
iconic seaside pavements on Rio de Janeiro’s Copacabana Beach.
Then, journey into the exuberant world of artist Marta Minujín
through her signature works currently on view in Marta
Minujín: Arte! Arte! Arte!
