Maple Sugaring Demos
February 10, 11, 17, 18, 24 & 25
Learn how to
identify and tap maple trees, collect sap, and make real maple syrup over
a wood-fired evaporator. Finish with a syrup taste test! Demos will take
place indoors & outdoors and will include a multimedia presentation.
Syrup will be available for purchase, while supplies last. Click here

Cost: $6 per
person. Preregistration is encouraged to hold your spot, but walk-ins are
permitted as long as space allows.

Winter's Day on the
Farm
February 11
Winter doesn't halt activity on the farm! Learn how to cut and
harvest ice, help the staff saw wood, pet the cows and see a cooking
demonstration. Take a wagon ride around the farm to see it in all of its

Floral Arranging with Supermarket Flowers:
It's Valentine's Day!

BYOB --
Bring your own bunch of supermarket flowers -- just in time for
Valentines' Day. Use supermarket flowers to make a knock-out bouquet
perfect for giving to that special Valentine. Ann Fahey, Superintendent
of Horticulture Education, will lead this hands-on class. We supply
greens and the container, and you supply the flowers. Join us for
this floral arranging session!
Cost: $25
