Maple Sugaring Demos
February 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24 & 25
Learn how to
identify and tap maple trees, collect sap, and make real maple syrup over
a wood-fired evaporator. Finish with a syrup taste test!
Demos will
take place indoors & outdoors and will include a multimedia
presentation. Syrup will be available for purchase, while supplies last. Click here

Cost: $6 per
person. Preregistration is encouraged to secure a spot, but walk-ins are
permitted if space allows.

Chocolate Workshop
February 8
Chocolates
for Valentine’s Day or for Chocolate Lovers! In this workshop discuss
techniques, create filled chocolates & other chocolate covered
goodies including pan truffles. During down time, enjoy some freshly made

Home School Days—A Future in Nature: Field Botanists
February 8
Equipped
with clipboard, bag to collect samples, and more, students will become
field botanists and bring home their very own field book. This is a
drop-off program. Students should dress for the weather and wear
comfortable walking shoes. Read more
