Synopsis: Abby Binder makes life so miserable for her
roommates at the Bristol Place Senior Living Facility that they change
rooms when a bed becomes available. But not Marilyn Dunne, a
relentlessly cheerful woman who grinds on Abby’s nerves! The women make
a bet to determine whether Marilyn stays or goes. Which one in this
“odd couple” will win?

Character Gender/Age Range Description
Abby (50-80) Brash woman living
in an Assisted Care Home. Unhappy, difficult.
Marilyn (50-80) Sweet,
unaffected woman, happy with her lot in life. Also lives in Assisted
Care Home.
Scotty (20-50) Nurse in the
Assisted Care Home. Caring, understanding, and wonderful to his
patients.
Benjamin/Lewis/Clown (20-40)
Plays three roles. Benjamin is the son of Abby who has not visited
for many years; most important role. Others are small character roles.
Colleen/Woman in White (20-35)
Plays two roles. Colleen is the daughter of Marilyn. Kind and
understanding. Woman in White small character role.
Derek/Zombie/Masked Man (20-35)
Plays three roles. Derek is the husband of Colleen. He is also kind and
understanding. Others are small character roles.
