IN PERSON: The History & Mystery of Tarot

Thursday Jan 18 | 7:00pm | Auditorium

Divination using Tarot cards dates back to the mid-15th century. Erol Delos Santos will explain the history of Tarot, what the cards mean, and what messages they convey. He will demonstrate the power of the cards, with readings for selected participants.

 


 

IN PERSON: Don't Fall for It: Online Scams

Learn how to keep yourself safe online by knowing what's real and what's a scam.

 

IN PERSON: English Language Learners: Language Lab

Conversation circles for intermediate level English language learners to increase vocabulary, practice spoken language, and meet others.

VIRTUAL: Book Chat

Come prepared to tell us what you’re reading, and why you love (or don’t love) it. 

 

VIRTUAL: Writers Salon

Wednesday Jan 24 | 7:00pm

This monthly program will be a forum for writers to talk about their challenges, seek advice, share resources, vent their frustrations, and offer support.

IN PERSON: Lunar New Year Story & Craft with Aram Kim

Saturday Jan 20 | 4:00pm | Auditorium | Ages: 7-11

Join us for a story and craft with children’s book author Aram Kim! In celebration of the Korean Lunar New Year, she’ll read her picture book, Tomorrow is New Year’s Day. Then make a Paper Bokjumoni (Korean Lucky Bag) and decorate it for the new year! Registration required.

 

IN PERSON: Read to a Dog

Thursday Jan 25 | 4:00pm | Children's Room | Ages 5-12

Kids have fun and gain confidence making something with their own hands in a crafting program led by local artisan Joanne Gould. Registration required.

 

IN PERSON: Stay & Play

Wednesday Jan 24 | 10:30am | Children's Room | Ages up to 5 years

Today's theme is MAKE BELIEVE.

 

IN PERSON: Come & Color

Friday Jan 26 | 10:00am | Children's Room

Children and caregivers are invited to drop by the library and color.

 

IN PERSON: B/V Club for Kids

Friday Jan 26 | 4:00pm | Auditorium | Ages 8-12

Come to our Book and Video (B/V) Club meeting!  We’ll discuss The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick, watch some related videos, and have snacks! Register to pick up a copy of the book ahead of time. Registration required.
