Memory Across GenerationsSunday, Jan. 28, 2024 4 PM PT / 7 PM ET / 12 AM +1 GMT   Online  As we face the passing of the generation of direct
witnesses to the Holocaust and confront rising antisemitism, the
landscape of Holocaust memory is changing.
Join the USC Shoah Foundation, The USC Dornsife Casden Institute, and USC
          Hillel for a discussion
about how the second and third generation, and beyond, can ensure the
preservation and relevance of Holocaust memory.

and the Blood Libel Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET / 9 PM GMT Online  Blood libel, the malicious myth that Jews engage in
ritualistic murder, has been one of the most persistent tropes of
antisemitism across the millennia. Join us as Dr. Magda Teter,
Professor of History and the Shvidler Chair of Judaic Studies at
          Fordham University, presents the next
lecture in the Daniel and Marisa Klass USC Shoah
Foundation Lecture Series on Antisemitism. She
will discuss her award-winning book, Blood Libel: On the Trail of an Antisemitic
Myth, and address how the blood libel
continues to manifest today.   | |

composer and conductor Francesco Lotoro spent years researching
survivor testimony to recover compositions created and played under
Nazi persecution—a powerful reminder of the endurance of the human
spirit. At a concert in Paris presented by UNESCO
and the USC Shoah Foundation, his orchestra will bring these melodies
to life on stage for the first time since World War II, coupled with
testimonies from the Visual History Archive.   | |
