Fairy camp, art camp, gardening camp, nature camps, outdoor
skills camp, farm camp, science camp and even golf camp - the Morris County
Park Commission has them all. Learn about the different day camp offerings
throughout the parks during this event which will feature activities,

Maple Sugaring Demos
January 27 & 28
Learn how to
identify and tap maple trees, collect sap, and make real maple syrup over
a wood-fired evaporator. Finish with a syrup taste test! This program
will be held entirely outdoors, so dress for the weather. Syrup will be
available for purchase, while supplies last. Click to

Maple Sugaring for
Littles
January 30 & February 12
Since the
little ones are too young for our regular maple sugaring demos, we are
offering special sessions just for them. Enjoy a maple sugaring story and
a walk and talk with a naturalist all about making maple syrup from

Winter's Day on
the Farm
February 11
Winter
doesn't halt activity on the farm!
Learn how to
cut and harvest ice, help the staff saw wood, pet the cows and see a
cooking demonstration. Take a wagon ride around the farm to see it in all
of its wintery splendor! (Ice
cutting is dependent on weather and the pond probably won’t freeze this
year!)
