Please give to help us put a new roof on our home, or all future productions will be:

SINGING IN THE RAIN &
STORMY WEATHER

This GIVING TUESDAY we hope you will include Chatham Community Players as a worthy recipient.

When you are 102 years old, you require maintenance, and this year, we are hoping to keep a roof over our head by replacing the roof on our building.

Please help us kick off our roofing campaign by making a tax deductible donation.  Just click the link below.

And if you are unable to donate, you can still help us by sharing the link!  Thank you!!

Winter 2024 After School Theater Classes

Chatham Players is offering an eight-week session of after school theater classes on Tuesday Afternoons from January 16 through March 5, 2024.

Classes are open to students with all levels of experience, regardless of whether or not they have had previous theater or acting training.

  • INTRODUCTION TO ACTING (ages 11 to 17)  - 3:30 to 4:30 pm. This class is specifically designed for students who want to try acting for the first time.  Using a combination of improvisation and scripted work, you’ll learn to develop believable characters and find a comfort level with performing in front of an audience.
  • CREATIVE DRAMA (ages 5 to 10) - 4:30 to 5:30 pm. A high-energy experience that packs loads of fun into a single hour, this class features theater games and various activities that help young performers explore their individual creativity, while also learning how to work as part of a group.
  • AUDITION WORKSHOP (ages 13 to 17) - 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Whether preparing to audition for a school production or looking toward future shows, this workshop offers a peek behind the audition table and will help students reduce nerves, find material, and become more comfortable in the audition setting.
