STUDENT AUDITIONS for Professional Production of THE JUNGLE BOOK!

 

Students ages 7+ are invited to audition for Axelrod Contemporary Ballet Theater's upcoming ballet The Jungle Book! Auditions:  Monday, November 20 5pm – 5:45pm ~ Ages 7-12 6pm – 6:45 ~ Ages 13-18 APAA Studios @ Bell Works (Holmdel, NJ)    Monday, December 4  5pm - 5:45pm ~ Ages 7-12 6pm – 6:45 ~ Ages 13-18 Stage at Axelrod Performing Arts Center (Deal, NJ)    Auditions include a free workshop taught by Gabriel Chajnik, where students will have the opportunity to learn movement and choreography from The Jungle Book.   To audition, click the button below!   REGISTER HERE       Rehearsals will be Saturday and Sunday afternoons starting January 6 at Bell Works.    Saturdays   Ages 12-18 ~ 11am – 2pm – Ballet Class Included Ages 7-12 ~ 2pm – 4pm – Warm-Up Class Included   Sundays  Ages 12-18 ~ 10am – 3pm – Ballet Class Included Ages 7-12 ~ 12pm – 2:30pm – Warm-up Class Included    Performances Feb 2-11, 2024   $300 performance fee required for all participants.     Check out footage from AXCBT's The Jungle Book, last performed in February 2019! Click the link below!     Video Here!   About THE JUNGLE BOOK Based on Rudyard Kipling’s collection of stories, this ballet tells the story of a boy adopted and raised by wolves fulfilling his quest for identity, love and belonging. Directed and choreographed by AXCBT Director Gabriel Chajnik, The Jungle Book is a groundbreaking collaboration with classical Indian dance teacher Sudha Shekhar Devulapalli.  Have a question?
