It's so hard to be a bird migrating for the winter! The exhausting journey is full of dangers - do you think you could survive?  Experience the challenges as you turn into a migrating bird and play simulation games to see what life as a migrant is like. Then we'll play Migration Hopscotch to see how habitat loss impacts migrating birds. Explore more.

WILD ANIMAL EXPERTS: TURKEYS

November 11

Join a naturalist for this popular series to learn about a new animal every month.

This session has to be about turkeys since it's the Thanksgiving month! Gobble..gobble! Learn more.

APPLE CIDERING FOR LITTLES

Since the little ones are too young for our regular apple cidering demonstrations, the GSOEC is offering a special session just for them. Enjoy an apple cidering story, and fun activities before you help press apple cider.  Taste homemade cider at the end! Get more information here.

Learn to make butter just in time for Thanksgiving! We will make butter in the butter churns, then select the ingredients for flavored butter (salt or fruit). Enjoy some butter and bread and take the rest home! Churn, Butter, Churn!

CLASSIC AND TRADITIONAL: WILLIAMSBURG ARRANGMENT FOR THE THANKSGIVING TABLE
