Enjoy a combination of Japanese oriented walking, meditation, mindfulness, and wellness this fall.   Wear comfortable shoes for walking. Get started!

Let's go on a hole hunt! Lots of animals dig underground to make their homes. Let's find out which ones with a story, activities and a trail walk to hunt for animal burrows! Parents can stay or drop off. Let’s dig deeper into this!

Cost: $7 per child. Preregistration is required.

 

STEMADVENTURES IN STEM: ROCK ON!

November 21   

In this series, young scientists explore the natural world through experiments and activities, making surprising discoveries along the way! In this session, discover three different types of rocks and learn how they form. Ready to rock on?

Cost: $10 per child. Preregistration is required.

 

Look What's Coming:

TURKEY MT. HIKE FOR TURKEY DAY

November 25  

After Thanksgiving, hike off all that turkey on Turkey Mountain! This 3-hour hike will take us up and over the mountain, and back. Bring a lunch to enjoy at a stop along the way. Ready to take a hike?

Cost: $10 per person. Preregistration is required.

CONTINUING CROCHET – BOBBLE STITCH

November 29

Have the basics of crochet down already? Come out to Fosterfields and learn a new stitch! Hook and yarn provided. Get hooked in! 

Cost: $15 per person. Preregistration is required.

WILLOWS WONDERLAND

December 2 and 3

Celebrate the holiday season at Fosterfields! Tour The Willows mansion decorated for different decades of Christmas, talk to costumed interpreters and watch live cooking demos at both the mansion and the 1915 farmhouse. Create a holiday craft and take a wagon ride and meet the animals in the barnyard. Even take your picture with Santa!

Get into the holiday spirit with us!

The 9th Annual SeedMoney Challenge is officially underway! 

SeedMoney is a non-profit that runs an annual 30-day crowdfunding challenge competing for grants for community gardens across the US and around the world.

The Park Alliance is proud to support Morris County Park System’s Growing Youth Gardeners program which includes the award-winning Branching Out program that has been in place for over 50 years, and the Kids to Kids and Garden2Table programs that offer youth, teens, and young adults with disabilities gardening experiences and healthy eating lessons.
