Save the date! Next Sunday at 3 P.M., Union City Chamber Players returns in a very special concert of folk and folk-inspired music, including masterworks from around the world by Ravel, Britten, Sarasate, Dvorak, and Bartok. Bernadette LaFond, mezzo-soprano, and Peter Borten, violin and viola, will be joined by Marina Korsakova-Kreyn, piano, and guest artist Nadine Scharman, flute.

The concert will showcase our vintage 1920s Knabe baby grand piano, acquired during the pandemic. All proceeds will be used to continue needed restoration work on this beautiful instrument so it can be used for many years to come. The piano will also need to be moved later in December due to renovation work planned to begin in January at the current location.

We think the music of the people is the ultimate source of our common musical culture and can help give us strength as we confront the division and uncertainty of the present moment. Please come celebrate our diverse roots on December 3 at 3 P.M.!

As always, we will offer wine and snacks after the performance so we can all catch up.
