Spanish Dance Theatre was originally founded in 1965 by
Maria Alba who was renowned for her Spanish dance drama works,
but it was Artistic Director Eva Lucena who brought to the

sold-out performances at the Bickford Theater last spring,
Carolyn Dorfman Dance continues to celebrate its 40-year
anniversary with audiences at the Madison Community Arts Center.
In this intimate setting, Carolyn Dorfman, known for her unique
and interactive approach, will guide the audience through
elements of her vision, creative process and work.
