Come sing with us and our choral community for the first ever, and hopefully not the last, Beer Choir on the East Coast. This is a national singing movement founded by composer Michael Engelhardt in Minnesota in 2015. There are now Beer Choir chapters all over the United States.

If you like beer, and you like to sing, you’ll love Beer Choir. This isn’t like your traditional choir—if you show up, you ARE the choir! No singing experience required; just come and sing, drink, and laugh together! There will be non-alcoholic beverages available, and your ticket includes entry, one beer/drink, and snacks.

The singing will be led by our very own artistic director, Dr. Anne Matlack, who will encourage all to sing, and will be supported by a kindly pianist. Get ready to join in on traditional drinking songs from Europe and America, some popular tunes and hymns, and a handful of adventurous choral songs from the official Beer Choir Hymnal, a songbook of drinking song classics, original works, and favorite melodies updated with irreverent lyrics.

We are partnering with Glenbrook Brewery, located in Morristown, New Jersey, to pour three of their finest beers at the Beer Choir. Their signature Colonial Ale is made with the finest ingredients and artisan craftsmanship by their award-winning head brewer.

You don’t need to love choral music, or even sing well, to enjoy Beer Choir—all you need to do is show up.
