Fall festivities have begun at Fosterfields! Experience the
Autumn season the old-fashioned way on Saturdays and Sundays in October!
Watch apples being pressed into cider, take a wagon ride and pick your own
pumpkins! Pumpkin guaranteed with pre-registration only. Everything is
included with your admission. Check it out!

SCARECROWS IN THE
GARDEN

Throughout
the month of October, visitors can take a stroll through the gardens to
see dozens of ghoulish, historic and colorful scarecrows including Gary
the Gardener and the Lampshade Sisters tasting tea. Learn more

LENAPE DAY
October 7
Our annual Lenape
Day event is back!
Join members of the Ramapough Lenape Tribe to learn all about
Lenape history, experience ceremonial dances and drumming, touch real
Lenape artifacts from thousands of years ago, make crafts, and more! Click here

day off discovering all there is to know about owls! Find out why we give

many big trees in the garden - but what about the tiny sprouts? Garden

Calling all thrill seekers! Do
you love the macabre and stranger side of history? Join us for a night of
horrifying historic happenings at Historic Speedwell. Experience the scary
side of the past in the haunted Vail House, and the bone-chilling true events
of murder, mystery and mayhem surrounding Antoine LeBlanc and the
Morristown Ghost are sure to horrify - because the truth is stranger than
fiction. Click if you dare!

TEENY TINY TRAIL
TALES
October 28
Families with small children
will enjoy a guided walk full of silly and nature-themed tales told by
costumed storytellers along the decorated trails of the Great Swamp. Wear
your own costume too! Make sure to sign up for your time slot in advance! Check it out!

TRAIL TALES
October 28
Hear silly, slightly spooky and
nature-themed tales told by costumed storytellers along the decorated,
glowing nighttime trails of the Great Swamp. Time slots every 15 minutes
starting at 5:30. Sign up in advance for a slot - they fill up quickly! Learn more!

S’MORE FUN TRAIL
RUN
November 12
The S’more
Fun Trail Run features a chip-timed 5k race or a 1-mile family fun
run/walk at Central Park of Morris County’s cross-country course. After
your run, stop by the campfire to warm up and roast some marshmallows!
Everything is S’MORE fun around the campfire! The deadline for T-Shirts
is October 20th, so be sure to register before then to secure an awesome
shirt!
Not in the
