There’s no reporting duo more famous than Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, the Washington Post journalists who uncovered the real story behind the Watergate break-in and spurred Nixon’s resignation. New York Times best-selling author and political analyst Jonathan Alter will host a conversation with the Pulitzer Prize winners in honor of the 50th anniversary of their landmark book, All the President’s Men.

Both have led remarkable careers in the decades that followed, including their newest books published just last year (Woodward’s The Trump Tapes and Bernstein’s Chasing History). This will be more than a look back — it’s a look ahead. What lessons did America learn (and forget) from Watergate, and what parallels do we see playing out in the headlines today?
