THE ADVOCATE
by Bill Mesce, Jr.
The confused and flexible morality of war:
Based on his award-winning and critically acclaimed trilogy of WW II novels, Bill Mesce, Jr.'s play THE ADVOCATE explores
the changing tactics of warfare through the lens of a military tribunal
evaluating a pilot who appears to have shot down one of his own men.
“…morally ambitious, and refuses the easy way
out…entertaining and thought-provoking…”
N.J. State
Council on the Arts
“Mr. Mesce…has a good feel for warfare and its effects on
the warriors…”
