In 1988, Chazz Palminteri (The Usual Suspects) wrote a one-man show about a killing he saw in the Bronx when he was nine years old. It became a hit and the most sought after property since Rocky. This is the original one-man show he wrote that made him an in-demand character actor and served as the basis of the acclaimed movie and Broadway musical.

Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month at MPAC! From September 15 to October 15, we'll be spotlighting upcoming MPAC programs that feature incredible Hispanic artists and stories.

This week's highlight is MPAC's opening night performance, featuring the stars of Broadway's Hamilton and In the Heights!

Mandy Gonzalez and Javier Muñoz are two of Broadway’s leading Hispanic stars. Their credits include the original cast of In the Heights and lead roles in Hamilton. Together, they celebrate today’s greatest composers, including Lin-Manuel Miranda, Stephen Schwartz and other extraordinary songwriters, while sharing stories and songs from their careers on stage, including music from Wicked, Hamilton and the best of Broadway.
