Get ready for a spectacular season-opener at the New Jersey Symphony’s Opening Night Celebration! The night begins with a dinner prelude with plenty of food, drinks and other guests to mingle with before the season opening concert.

This season-opener celebrates the pathbreaking art of Black composers past and present with conductor Robert Spano. The concert kicks off with Valerie Coleman’s Umoja and Duke Ellington’s New World A-Comin’ featuring jazz virtuoso Aaron Diehl and the amazing Aaron Diehl Trio. Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9, “From the New World,” one of the most beloved concert works of all time, closes the concert.

The party doesn’t end there! After the concert, guests will be treated to a swingin’ after-party with food, dancing and a live band. You don’t want to miss it!

  • Packages start at $2,500
  • Individual tickets start at $250
  • Opportunities for Young Friends (ages 21-40) to attend start at $125

Already have a ticket for the October 14 concert? Celebration add-on tickets are also available.
