Junior Internship Program
"...their testimony, their voice, is important to
being an upstander and a leader and understanding that an issue
doesn't have one layer..." — 2023 William P. Lauder Junior Intern
The USC Shoah Foundation is looking for 40 students across the United States representative of diverse backgrounds and academic skills to participate in the William P. Lauder Junior Internship Program. This program provides a dynamic and unique learning opportunity for students to broaden their civic agency and develop their own voice by engaging with testimonies – personal stories – from survivors and witnesses of the Holocaust and other genocides.
William P. Lauder Junior Interns will:
Leverage their academic and social skills to evaluate testimony-based educational resources.
Collaborate with other interns to develop public speaking and leadership skills.
Share their scholarship through research and digital projects.
Deliver presentations to peers and/or to other Institute partners about the impact of testimony.
Develop social media posts for the Institute.
The William P. Lauder Junior Internship Program consists of nine sessions from October 2023 to March 2024 and takes place in-person at our USC headquarters with an online option for students outside of Southern California.
