Native Art in Place: MAM’s Regional Collection, with Artist Holly Wilson

 

Native Art in Place

 

*Virtual Talk* | Wednesday, September 27, 7–8 p.m.

Co-organized with the Montclair History Center, this virtual talk will feature MAM's Curator of Native American Art, Laura J. Allen, and artist Holly Wilson (Delaware Nation). Allen will discuss MAM's engagement with regional and diasporic Native art historically and today. Wilson will share her artistic practices and how she integrates her personal experiences and her family's history of displacement from Lenapehoking (this land) into her work.
