Galvin Cello Quartet

The Galvin Cello Quartet brings the rich sonority of the
cello to works by Wagner, Rossini, Gershwin and more, demonstrating why
they have caught the attention of audiences and critics alike. This
special concert is selling fast so get your tickets now to enjoy the
final offering of the 2023 Back Deck season.

The Galvin Cello Quartet - D. Popper, Polonaise de
Concert
Attendees must bring their own chairs and are welcome to
bring refreshments to enjoy the live music atop the Morris Museum’s
elevated parking deck. Tickets are $50 for an 8’x8’ block that
accommodates up to two patrons (in green on the seating chart) or $25
for a block that accommodates one patron (in orange). Concerts begin at
7:30 PM but patrons are welcome to arrive as early as 5:00 PM to enjoy
their picnics.
A Chance of Rain?
In the event of inclement weather, outdoor performances
will be held inside the Museum’s Bickford Theatre. No need to call, the
Box Office will contact you by email on the day of the concert no later
than 5 PM.

The Morris Museum has adopted a dynamic mask policy for
upcoming events inside the Bickford Theatre. Face masks are
currently optional in the CENTER and HOUSE RIGHT sections and are
required in the HOUSE LEFT section. This policy is subject to change at

Anniversary

Pianist Ilya Yakushev can be hard to pin down to one
style or sound, but critics and audiences alike praise his incredible
artistry.
For his Morris Museum debut, Yakushev pays homage to
three major anniversaries of the season: Rachmaninoff’s 150th birthday,
the 150th anniversary of Mussorgsky’s Tour de Force, Pictures
at an Exhibition, and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.
