SOMA Broadway in the Park is BACK!

 

Broadway in the Park is BACK!   Join us on Sept 4th (Labor Day) at 4:30pm at the Memorial Park Amphitheater in Maplewood for the biggest celebration of Broadway in North Jersey! This year our performers (all local, as always) will be singing their DREAM ROLES for you! Admission is free with a $15 suggested donation which will go directly towards programming like this. In the event of rain, the concert will be moved indoors to The Woodland in Maplewood.   A huge thank you to our Broadway in the Park sponsors!     Coming Up!   Jersey native Jessica Vosk is known for her star turn as Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway. She recently starred as Florence in the highly anticipated Muny production of Chess and played her solo show to sold out audiences at Carnegie Hall! BIV’s diverse membership has represented over 140 Broadway shows since its inception. GET TICKETS HERE   We are so excited to have partnered with the South Orange Performing Arts Center!  SOMA Stage and Artistic Director Dana Spialter have been selected to represent the Broadway branch of the newly formed Creative Community Brain Trust.  The CCBT is a committee of five advisors and industry experts that will guide SOPAC toward inclusively excellent, radically creative, and community-powered programming.
