Join Grace Brown,
SummerART Manager and Instructor, in the Cornerstone Café for a
casual conversation. Enjoy free drip coffee, courtesy of the Vance
Wall Education Center, as you chat with Grace about MAM's
upcoming summer art camps for ages 6–12 and teen classes for ages
12–15.

4, Sessions at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m.
Each Sunday, MAM
hosts a family art-making activity inspired by the Museum's current
exhibitions. Inspired by the exhibition, vanessa german:
...please imagine all the things I cannot say..., families will
create mix-media assemblage rainbows from upcycled materials in
honor of National LGBTQ+ Pride month.

In addition to our standard Sunday Studio, MAM hosts a
special Sunday Studio on the first Sunday of the month. Sensory Sunday
Studio is designed for families with neurodivergent
members who prefer smaller classes with extra support. Families
will partake in the same art-making activity described above.
Sensory Sunday Studio is at 12 p.m., before our standard Sunday
Studio.

Start of Summer with Teen Night
|

Saturday, June 10,
6–9 p.m.
Take over the
Museum for the night with MAM's teen interns. Spend the night with
your friends as you enjoy live music, delicious food, and fun art
activities, including designing your own beach bag and bracelets.

Join us each Friday for special programming
including Sketching in the Galleries and Family Scavenger
Hunts. Bring your laptop or other project materials to
the Museum’s Media Lab and enjoy our free wifi. While
there, take a break from work and visit the galleries, or
grab a quick snack or cup of coffee from our Cornerstone
Café as you fuel up for the end of the work week.

on the Collection
|

MAM’s bimonthly series, Spotlight on the
Collection, highlights artworks from the permanent
collection and original scholarship by MAM staff.
Simultaneously intimate and
iconic, Goldin’s photo of her friends and drag
queens, Misty and Joey, is part of a series of
photographs capturing the artist’s friends and lovers
navigating love, sex, and relationships in the era of
AIDS.
