Join our group of active seniors for a guided hike on the trails of Pyramid and Turkey Mountains. These moderate level hikes are on rocky, even ground with some steep sections, so experienced hikers are preferred. Make new friends and hike the best trails in NJ! Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome too. Learn more here.

Join us for this special presentation on the history of water and wind power. From ancient Greek factories to Iowa wind farms, learn how our world has been shaped by renewables, the myths and misconceptions about their use, and what the future might hold for sustainable energy practices in Northern New Jersey. Migration is well under way and the trees are filled with colorful birds arriving from their wintering grounds. Get outside with a pair of binoculars to listen and look for them as they feed and look for mates. Our naturalist will give you tips for identification, share fun facts about the species' lives, and lead you to the best spots for birding. All skill levels welcome. Bring binoculars or borrow ours. yogaSUNSHINE YOGA FOR KIDS: BUG LOVE

An awesome class for kids who want to play games, use their imaginations and have FUN! Each class is taught by a licensed instructor and centers around a nature theme. Kids learn 5 yoga poses to use in our games. At the end of every class, we will talk about a “big feeling”, such as being mad, and learn a new tool to help us cope with that feeling. Young scientists explore different parts of the natural world through experiments and activities. Science will surprise you with things that you didn't know were possible!
