Arts Matters: "May" Your Month Be Filled With Art

 

 

2023 marks Morris Arts' 50th Anniversary! We invite you to celebrate with us throughout the year at our existing arts events and programs along with at a few additional golden anniversary happenings. Below is a compilation of what's coming up in May. We look forward to connecting with you through the arts!

 

ARTS IN EDUCATION

 

 

 

ARTS IN EDUCATION SHOWCASE

MAY 9TH | 09:15AM–1:30PM | FREE

The Shakespeare Theatre of NJ, Drew University | 36 Madison Avenue, Madison

This free event invites cultural arts leaders, PTO/HSA members, teachers and principals to see first-hand highlights of programs created for students in the visual arts, dance, music, theatre, storytelling and more.

 


 

 

REGIONAL CULTURAL ARTS EXCHANGE

MAY 30TH | 10AM–12PM | FREE

Morris Arts | 14 Maple Avenue, Morristown

This free event provides a great opportunity for cultural arts representatives to share ideas and experiences and exchange feedback on assembly and residency programs. It also allows for networking between schools and making contacts for coordinating future block bookings.

Enjoy an evening of music and arts at the 39th Annual Giralda Farms Music & Arts Festival. This outdoor concert will feature the New Jersey Symphony with a pre-show performance by The Tia Holt Experience. 

Symphony Concert starts at 6PM; pre-show performance starts at 4:30PM.
