The Millburn Free Public Library is conducting a community survey and we need your opinions about our library and community! Please take part in this online survey by Friday April 28. Your feedback is important to us as we develop our new strategic plan.

 

 

It's Time for the Book Sale!

 


It's time for the Friends of the Millburn Library Annual Book Sale! Drop off items from now until Sunday April 23. The Friends will be accepting hardcovers, paperbacks, children’s books, vinyl records, DVDs in good condition. There will be a Member Preview Night on Thursday, May 4: 6:30pm – 8:30pm. You must bring your Friends Member card to attend the Member Preview Night. The Book Sale will run on Saturday May 6- through Sunday May 7. More information here >>

VIRTUAL: Ukrainian Artists: Pioneers of Modernity with Sylvia Laudien-Meo

Thursday April 27 | 7:00pm

Many pioneers of modern Western Art came from Ukraine, previously often labeled as ‘Russian’ due to the country’s inclusion in the Russian Empire. They left Ukraine for political reasons and joined international art centers in Paris and New York, developing new artistic languages and breaking down borders between mediums.

IN PERSON: Wholesome Hearts Nature Program

Friday April 21 | 4:00pm | Auditorium

Join Andrea LaRegina for a hands-on Nature Program where children will explore, create and investigate using their senses and natural surroundings. We plan to meet outside for the first part of the program.

 

IN PERSON: Peace Play Yoga Storytime for Kids with Pamela Nixon

Thursday April 20 | 11:00am | Auditorium | Ages 2-5

The books Pamela Nixon reads come to life as we slither like snakes, hop like frogs and bark like dogs. Through songs and stories we'll bend, stretch, breathe and move while having fun learning yoga poses.

 

IN PERSON: Read to a Therapy Dog

Thursday April 27 | 4:00pm | Children's Room | Ages 5-12

We invite you to sign up to read to a calm and happy dog certified with Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs! Registration required.
