Please
pardon our appearance
The
ramp to the main entrance sustained significant damage from an
accident in the parking lot. Fortunately, no one was badly hurt. The
library is currently coordinating with the township to begin the
necessary repairs. During this time there is barrier-free access to
the Library through the entrance to the reference wing. This is
located to the right of the main entrance, near the book drop.
We
recognize that this is an inconvenience, and we hope to complete
repairs as quickly as possible. Thank you in advance for your
patience.
If
you have additional questions or specific concerns about
accessibility
please
contact Library Director, Amy Babcock,
at Babcock-landry@livingston.bccls.org.

Sustainability
is the ability to exist in a just and equitable society and develop

The Power of Pattern
Students
at Burnett Hill, Collins, and Mount Pleasant Elementary Schools
examined patterns, an important principle of design and explored how
patterns can make a big impact on their art. Not only are
patterns everywhere including nature and math, but they are a way for
artists to create a sense of order, balance and structure in a
composition.
