Cornerstone Café Now Open Saturdays

The Cornerstone Café at MAM is expanded its hours. Starting this weekend, in addition to its established Friday hours, the Café will be open Saturdays 10 a.m.–3 p.m.

Create Hand-Made Jewelry in One-Day Workshop

 

 

Sunday, April 29, 12:30 p.m.

Join Yard School of Art instructor Lisa G. Westheimer as she teaches you how to assemble your own jewelry made of glass components. Spend the day making one-of-a-kind pieces like pendant necklaces and earrings. No prior experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided.

Spend Fridays at MAM

Fridays at MAM

Join us each Friday for special programming including Sketching in the Galleries and Family Scavenger Hunts. Bring your laptop or other project materials to the Museum’s Media Lab and enjoy our free wifi. While there, take a break from work and visit the galleries, or grab a quick snack or cup of coffee from our Cornerstone Café as you fuel up for the end of the work week.

Spotlight on the Collection

MAM’s bimonthly series, Spotlight on the Collection, highlights artworks from the permanent collection and original scholarship by MAM staff. 

Theodore Roszak was one of the pioneers of constructed sculpture in America during the 1930s. A highly innovative artist who worked in a variety of mediums, Roszak drew on a wide range of interests, from technology and machine aesthetics to cosmology and music.
