NO ONE IS INNOCENT by Stephanie Griffin
No One is Innocent is
set a small French village. The year is 1944. There is an end to the
war in sight, but the Nazis retain control. The story begins in those
last brutal days and continues to follow 3 generations of a family as
seen through the lens of their actions during and after the occupation.
Over a 30 - year span, we follow Sophie, her daughter Anna, and Anna's
son Al as family secrets unravel to expose the fierceness and fragility
of familial and romantic bonds and the ability of ordinary people to do
extraordinary things.
