The SOMA
backStage Reading Series was created to provide a platform for new
plays and musicals to be showcased in a public presentation.
You will get the unique opportunity to see these new works in
their earliest form and provide feedback to help shape the future of
their development. Through SOMA backStage, writers are given
the invaluable resources to develop their shows and have their vision
come to life. In our inaugural year, we are so excited that
both pieces selected are written by local SOMA writers as well!
Filled with Broadway professionals and cast almost entirely with NJ
locals, we are so excited to showcase the incredible talent we have
right here in our backyard.
