Searching for Shakespeare: Celebrating 400 years of Shakespeare’s First Folio

This April the Folger is celebrating Shakespeare—and the 400th anniversary of the printing of the First Folio—in partnership with DC Public Library (DCPL).

The month-long, citywide festival includes an exhibition, a world-premiere play, a scavenger hunt, Shakespeare’s Birthday Lecture, family programs, workshops, and more at DCPL locations in all eight wards of Washington, DC.

All events are free. Registration opens to the public Friday at noon ET. Folger members can contact the box office at (202) 544-7077 or folgerboxoffice@folger.edu to access early registration.
