Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was renowned in his time as a great pianist more than he was known as a great composer.

As a child, he and his family toured Europe. While his ability to compose sonatas, concertos, and symphonies at a very young age was surprising, it was his skills as a pianist that most astounded his audiences.

Following his move to Vienna in 1781, Mozart composed many of his most beloved operas, symphonies, concertos, and other works, including his final 10 piano concertos!

Who was the soloist for these magnificent compositions? As was typical of the time, the soloist was Mozart himself! In fact, not only was Mozart the composer and soloist, but often he arranged all the details of his concerts.

The Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey is excited to welcome the return of renowned pianist Beatrice Long to perform Mozart's glorious and exciting Piano Concerto #21.

The concert also features Ludwig van Beethoven's very first symphony and Tis a Gift, Variations on Simple Gifts by Maestro Robert W. Butts and Elijah Souels with special guests Seraphina Taylor and the Keys 2 Success Ensemble.

Tis a Gift - Robert W. Butts & Elijah Souels (special guests Keys 2 Success)
