New Virtual Class - The Craft of Acting and Writing

 


Join award winning writer/actress/director Laiona Michelle (Little Girl Blue, Mandela) as she shares her unique experiences and techniques for creating complex characters and dynamic stories. Laiona Michelle has been nominated for numerous awards, including the Lucille Lortel (2022), Antonyo Awards (2022); and she is the recipient of the Barrymore and Carbonell Awards (2004); The NAACP Hollywood award (2005), and she was nominated for the Helen Hayes Award (2005). Online Playwriting Classes

 


Join the writers' room with Award-winning playwright, Laiona Michelle, who is thrilled to be teaching GSP’s playwriting for beginners. Some of Laiona’s notable work includes the off-Broadway musical, Little Girl Blue, and most recently, Mandela, which will debut at the Young Vic in London. This course is designed for new and emerging writers who are ready to explore play construction and the art of storytelling.
