Friday, MARCH 10th, 7-9pm, donations at the door
Prepare a five-minute story, based on the theme
“SPRING,” put your name in a hat and you could be one of ten people
selected to tell your story onstage.
How to prepare:
- Prepare
a five-minute story incorporating the theme, SPRING
- Stories
about springing into action, spring ahead, spring growing
season.
- Stories
should not be longer than five minutes-ish and should be told not read-
that means no notes, no writing on your palm, no cue cards.
But we are very flexible with first-time tellers.
- Stories
should have a beginning, middle, and end. But necessarily in
that order.
How to participate:
- Storytellers
should arrive with a prepared 5-minute story and put their
names onto the list 30 minutes before the slam begins.
- Our
host picks names in order and storytellers take to the stage
one at a time.
What do you win? Bragging rights and the glow of
accomplishment that comes with a story well told.
