 ARBORETUM TOUR: A PEEK INTO THE PINETUM
AT FRELINGHUYSEN ARBORETUM

In this
tour, you will go where most do not. The Pinetum hosts tall, luscious
evergreens and gorgeous camellias. Bundle up and make sure to wear
sturdy boots. Meet by the Frelinghuysen Mansion. Check it

 HANDS-ON HISTORY: INTERMEDIATE WEAVING
OF A TAPESTRY

new intermediate workshop, we will be making a simple tapestry that you
can hang in your home. Please make note that the workshop starts at 6
pm and is over at 8:30 pm. We will be working with wool and other

Wondering
if you can keep your garden in bloom all year long? Ann Fahey,
Superintendent of Horticulture Education, will "walk" you
through a year of blooms in this dynamic lecture. Bring a photo of your
own garden and she will give you a few ideas to enhance it. Light

WINTER’S DAY ON
THE FARM
February 12
Winter doesn't halt activity on the farm! Come to
Fosterfields for Winter's Day on the farm. Learn how to cut and harvest
ice, help the staff saw wood, pet the cows and see a cooking demonstration.
Take a wagon ride around the farm to see it in all of its wintery

Look What’s Coming:
 MAPLE SUGARING
DEMOS
Saturdays and Sundays, January 21 –
March 12
Learn how
to identify and tap maple trees, collect sap, and make real maple syrup
over a wood-fired evaporator. Finish with a syrup taste test! This
program will be held entirely outdoors, so dress for the weather. Syrup
will be available for purchase, while supplies last. For more
