Cost: $10 per person. Preregistration is required.   SUNSHINE YOGA FOR KIDS: SNOWFLAKES January 28 An awesome class for kids who want to play games, use their imaginations, and have FUN! Each class is taught by a licensed instructor and centers around a nature theme. Kids learn 5 yoga poses to use in our games. At the end of every class, we will talk about a “big feeling,” such as being mad, and learn a new tool to help us cope with that feeling. Find out more! Cost: $12 per child. Preregistration is required.   HOOTIN’ OWLS FOR LITTLES January 29 Toddlers enjoy an owl-themed story and a walk on the trails to hunt for some of our owl neighbors. Preregistration is required.   FAMILY PHOTO SCAVENGER HUNT: LOVE IS IN THE AIR February 1 – February 28 It's February and love is in the air! Grab your camera or phone and search for all the reasons to love the winter garden. Check it out! Cost: $10 per family or group of 6. Preregistration is required.   GARDEN SPROUTS: SNOW GIANTS February 1   When it snows a big white blanket may cover the plants, but what’s happening below the snow that we can’t see? Spotlight On: MAPLE SUGARING DEMOS Saturdays and Sundays, January 28 – March 12 Get outside and active this winter and experience the unique and exhilarating sport of snowshoeing! Enjoy a guided trek exploring the beautiful winter scenery and looking for signs of wildlife - all while getting a great workout. For more info, click here. Cost: $6 per person. Preregistration is required.   WINTER’S DAY ON THE FARM February 12 Winter doesn't halt activity on the farm! Come to Fosterfields for Winter's Day on the farm. Learn how to cut and harvest ice, help the staff saw wood, pet the cows and see a cooking demonstration. Take a wagon ride around the farm to see it in all of its wintery splendor! Valentine’s Day Activities: FLORAL ARRANGING WITH SUPERMARKET FLOWERS FOR VALENTINE'S DAY FOR ADULTS February 7 In this hybrid class, bring a bunch of supermarket flowers and learn how to use supermarket flowers to make a knock-out bouquet perfect for giving to someone special -- just in time for Valentines' Day! Ann Fahey, Superintendent of Horticulture Education, will lead this hands-on class. Attendees can come in person or attend virtually. We supply greens and the container and you supply the flowers. Virtual registrants must pick up supplies prior to class. Check it out!
