The Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey
Wassail 2023 returns to the orchestra's origins with an exciting
"Back to Baroque" concert at The Morristown Unitarian
Fellowship,
21 Normandy Heights Road,
Morristown, New Jersey.
When founded in 1996, the orchestra
primarily played music of the 17th and 18th centuries. For our annual
Wassail concert this year, we return to that repertoire with music by
Johann Sebastian Bach, Georg Philipp Telemann, Franz Joseph Haydn,
and Joseph Bologne (The Chevalier de Saint-Georges).
Baroque Orchestra artists will
perform in 4 concertos for 2-4 soloists: Alyson Whelan, Aimee
Morrill Briant, Emily James, Rosalie Dumas, Laura Ferraro, Andrew
Pecota, Janis Kaplan, Nancy Vanderslice, and Lee Doswell.
