November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo).
If you've ever wanted to write a novel, now is the
time!
Each year thousands of people commit to writing
the first draft of a novel during the month of November. You can too!
The Millburn Library will be Come Write In partner for this year's
NaNoWriMo.
To learn more, join us on Wednesday, October 26 at
7 PM for our virtual kickoff event with novelist and
librarian Jon Michaud. Register here.
The library will also offer:
·
A selection of books about
the craft of writing.
·
A clean, well-lighted space
(with wi-fi) for you to write at the library. (You can even book a quiet study room.)
·
Regular virtual check-ins
and pep-talks during the month.
·
Lessons on writing from
David Baldacci, N.K. Jemisin, Amy Tan, Neil Gaiman, Margaret Atwood
and others via MasterClass.
