Recording artist and Broadway actor, Mykal
Kilgore (Motown the Musical and NBC’s The
Wiz Live!) is one of today’s hottest young artists. The
singer-songwriter’s debut album A Man Born Black was
released in 2019 and included his GRAMMY-nominated single “Let Me
Go.” Mykal made history as the first openly gay artist to receive

AVENUE Q is not a new
musical…though it seems that many people missed it in New York City!
(What were you doing those 16 years?!) Now, you won’t have to take
the Lincoln or the A Train to get to AVENUE Q! The
Axelrod’s new production is crossing the B&T's for you…with
plenty of free parking too.
AVENUE Q has two HALF-PRICE previews: Friday,
Nov 4 (7 pm) and Saturday, Nov 5 (2 pm). Come check out the
neighborhood!! We run through November 20.
From the creator of The Book of Mormon, Avenue
Q cannot be WOKE or CANCELLED. Despite how cute our
puppets are, the show is meant for Adults.

The real stars of the original Broadway production are
all reuniting at the Axelrod—thanks to Rick Lyon (the
puppet master and designer and the original Trekkie and Nicky) and

Like all nonprofit arts groups in the country, the Axelrod
Performing Arts Center is working harder than ever to come back
and regenerate after the pandemic. Our audiences are still 40% less
than 2019. So, if you haven’t returned to the theater, we miss
you and this season is your opportunity to return! Donor support is
more important than ever. For all new donors and donors rejoining
us this year as members, this special Jason Robert Brown
