Autumn season the old-fashioned way! Watch apples being pressed into
cider, walk through the corn maze, take a wagon ride and pick your own

SCARECROWS IN THE
GARDEN

It's the last
weekend to see the scarecrows at Frelinghuysen Arboretum! Stroll through
the gardens and visit the scarecrow display all month long!

are nearing peak fall colors! Join a naturalist for a trail walk to learn

series, kids get into the woods, learning different outdoor skills,

Halloween! Come to Fosterfields Living Historical Farm to create a spooky
seasonal craft to decorate your home. Choose between a ghost, a pumpkin

TEENY TINY TRAIL TALES

Families
with small children will enjoy a guided walk full of silly and
nature-themed tales told by costumed storytellers along the decorated

SKULLS & BONES
October 30
Become a
forensic scientist for wildlife as you examine real skulls and bones to
determine what animal they came from. Discover the 4 types of mammal

S’MORE FUN TRAIL
RUN & 1-MILE FAMILY FUN RUN/WALK
November 13
The S’more
Fun Trail run features a chip timed 5k race or a 1-mile family fun
run/walk at Central Park of Morris County’s cross-country course. All
ages and skill levels are welcome. After your run, stop by the campfire
to warm up and roast some marshmallows! Everything is S’MORE fun around
