APEX Season Cancelation

Dear Apex Supporters –

It is with great disappointment that APEX Ensemble must announce the cancellation of its 2022-2023 season.

The recent sudden and unexpected loss of our performance venue, coupled with a significant revenue decline resulting from two years of cancelled performances during the pandemic, forced us to make this difficult decision. We remain extremely grateful to all our remarkable donors and subscribers for the generous support we have received from them during these past few years.

We had hoped that once we were back performing, we would be able to overcome the losses that the previous two years had created. Unfortunately, without the stability of a performance venue, that did not seem a likely scenario. The Board then had to make the very difficult, but fiscally responsible, decision to suspend all concerts this season.

We are very proud of the extraordinary quality of the concerts we have given since our inception in 2016. Our orchestra was founded with the mission of giving top conservatory students the opportunity to perform side by side with top professional musicians, an opportunity that was unique to APEX and was eagerly welcomed by students and professionals alike.

The entire APEX family is devastated by this turn of events and the Board hopes to find some path forward that would enable the incredibly meaningful mission of APEX Ensemble to continue.

Sincerely,

Andre Weker, President

Sylvia Cohn, Chair, APEX Ensemble Board of Directors

Please note that we will be refunding, in full, all tickets purchased for this cancelled season in the very near future. If you have questions regarding an order, please email us at info@apexensemble.org
