Last
call to register for Teacher Day at
the Dodge Poetry Festival by
the deadline of Monday, October 3!
Pre-registered teachers, administrators, school counselors
and librarians can attend the Festival for free on Thursday, October
20, 2022. This day is designed especially for
educators like you, who want to rejuvenate your love for poetry,
discover new voices, reconnect with special poems, share your work at
open readings, see old friends, and receive a free Poetry Kit for
Teachers filled with poems and activities to bring back to your
school.
At the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC)
and in other beautiful and historic spaces around the Downtown Arts
District of Newark, New Jersey, poets ranging from U.S. Poets
Laureate to young emerging voices will come together for readings and
panel discussions that showcase the vibrancy and diversity of
contemporary poetry.
