Mooncakes are delicious… and revolutionary! During the Yuan Dynasty, they were used to pass secret messages, which helped overthrow the Mongolian empire in China. Construct your very own mooncake decoder and use it to reveal secret messages and riddles. Check back on Wednesday, September 7th, for the full tutorial.

Sharing mooncakes with friends and family is an essential Mid-Autumn tradition. Join MOCA on social media for a trivia lightning round about all things mooncakes. Then, watch pastry chef Rebecca Li (@rebeshouse) as she walks us through the multi-layer process of making mooncakes. Discover the ingredients inside mooncakes and the tools used to make them in this interactive video.
