3-Day
Handbuilding Workshop at the Toshiko Takaezu Ceramic Studio
This 3-day handbuilding workshop will take
place at the Toshiko
Takaezu Ceramic Studio and property,
which includes a welcoming studio space. It will take place
over two consecutive weekends. Instructors: Karen
Abromaitis, Don Fletcher, and Maxwell Mustardo.
Students will learn coil and slab techniques
for making functional and sculptural forms.
Nov. 5 - 6 from 10 am - 4 pm; Nov. 19 from 10
am - 2 pm

Collaborative
Puppetry Workshop
This experiential workshop for adults is
designed to tell stories through the metaphor of puppetry
while bringing together an ensemble of like-minded
participants to articulate a bunraku style puppet (most
notable, War Horse and Lion King). Students will learn to
create a simple tabletop puppet with ordinary materials, of
string, paper, and tape. Instructed by Bonnie A. Berkowitz.

It Up: Exploring Colors, Lines, & Shapes
Why work with one medium when you can “Mix it Up?”
Explore paint, drawing materials, soft materials, and found
materials in this class designed for kids ages 4-6. Kids
will learn techniques in a variety of media and make both
two and three-dimensional masterpieces. Instructor: Liz
