From the
creator of The Wizard of Oz comes the sequel, The
Lost Princess of Oz. L. Frank Baum continues
the adventures of Dorothy, Glinda the Good Witch, and the Wizard as
they search for Princess Ozma to recover the magic stolen from Oz. In
this fantastical tale, Baum introduces new characters including the
Frogman, the Patchwork Girl, Tik-Tok, and the talking (singing) hen,
Billina, played by Reagan Richards of the popular Asbury Park
country duo, Williams Honor. Gordon Brown, also of
Williams Honor, portrays Frank Baum, as he writes the sequel to the
beloved story of Oz.

partnership with Axelrod Performing Arts Center (APAC), will
present the World Premiere of Juilliard alum Artistic Director Gabriel
Chajnik’s multimedia dance musical extravaganza, The Lost Princess
of Oz

The story follows the beloved Wizard of Oz characters, Dorothy,
the Scarecrow, Tin Man, the Lion, Glinda the Good Witch of the North and
the Wizard of Oz as they bring along new friends in search for Princess Ozma to
recover the magic stolen from Oz. The cast is led by Reagan Richards and Gordon Brown of Asbury Park’s chart-topping country-duo Williams Honor, AXCBT company members and local area dance students.Created, choreographed, and directed by Gabriel Chajnik, this exciting multimedia dance musical includes a narrative script written by Shannon Hill based on Baum’s Ozma of Oz and The Lost Princess of Oz. This new ballet will feature an original score by Chris Becker, whose Appalachian-inspired composition is infused with country fiddles and bluegrass banjoes! Williams Honor, comprised of singer/songwriter
Reagan Richards and songwriter/producer Gordon Brown, is
Jersey Shore’s first-ever country duo. Williams Honor recently were
voted Best Band on the Jersey Shore by radio listeners at Jersey pop
station 94.3 The Point, showing the diversity in taste among their
audience. WH has also toured nationally and shared the stage with
some of the format’s biggest stars, Old Dominion, Tim McGraw, Lady A,
among many others!
