Brian Lam
Brian Lam's awards include first prizes at the Hong Kong International Concerto Festival Competition, New York Classical Music Society Recital Audition, Brooklyn College Concerto Competition, American Proteges International Concerto Competition, Philadelphia Young Classical Virtuoso International Piano Competition and a second prize at the New York International Artist Association Piano Competition. He has played at Steinway Halls in London & New York; Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Merkin Concert Hall, and the DiMenna Center for Classical Music in New York; The Kimmel Center in Philadelphia; Chicago Cultural Center; Pardington Hall in Nyack; and Hong Kong City Hall.
Mr. Lam holds Bachelor and Master of
Music degrees in Piano Performance (summa cum laude) from Brooklyn College, City
University of New York.
Brian Lam will play the exciting Piano
Concerto #20 in D minor by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Other
works on the program include Johann Sebastian Bach's Brandenburg
Concerto #2, Amy Reich's Winter Dances, Franco
Moro's Cecilia Waltz, and a few popular surprises.
