If accepted, rehearsals begin September 11th and are held at Grace Lutheran Church in Mendham on Sunday nights at 7pm, with some sectionals starting at 6pm, one Saturday morning per concert season, and Tues/Fri dress rehearsals before each concert. Harmonium schedules three major concerts per season—December, March, and June—as well as a Chamber Singers concert and special appearances throughout the year.

Harmonium concert soloists are usually selected from the chorus’s 100-voice membership, over one-third of whom are professional musicians and/or music educators. Members are also invited to audition for the Harmonium Chamber Singers, a 20-voice vocal ensemble selected from the full Harmonium chorus.

Please click on this link to sign up for an audition time and visit our website here to sign-up for our e-newsletter. All Harmonium singers are vaccinated and sing while masked. Auditioners must show proof of Covid vaccination and sing while masked to audition and to be a member. There is an annual fee to be a singing member of the choir and consideration is given to those who might need assistance.
