Call for Entries: Heidi Gallery at JSDD

CALL FOR ENTRIES:

The WAE Open

The Heidi Gallery at JSDD is proud to announce its inaugural juried group exhibition. Founded in 2004, the WAE (Wellness, Arts, Enrichment) Center is a holistic art learning program for adults with developmental disabilities.

Dedicated to “Finding the Spark Within,” WAE’s focus is on the personal growth of its members. WAE believes in meeting individuals where they are and supporting them as they identify and achieve their personal goals and, by embracing these humanistic principles, WAE guides members in building a greater capacity to live a full life.

The WAE Open is not meant to have a theme; rather, the exhibition is intended to showcase the highest quality visual art being made at this moment in time. The Gallery, located at 310 Eisenhower Parkway, Livingston, NJ, is 2,000 square feet with moveable walls, thus allowing for the broadest range and diversity of media.
